Raymond Isaac Hutchings was born on May 31, 1915 the second child of Montrose Hutchings and Betsy May Goodwin. Raymond had an older brother, Lorrin George Hutchings, born on September 16, 1912 and a younger brother, Norman Hutchings, born on February 26, 1920. All of Montrose and Betsy's children were born in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah. Lorrin died on April 9, 1999, in Sevier County, Utah and Norman died on December 31, 2003, in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah

Raymond married Louise Martin on September 2, 1936 in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah. Louise was the daughter of William Porter Martin and Wanda Iretta Easton. Louise was born on February 2, 1921, in Greenville, Beaver County, Utah, and now, 2016, lives with her daughter Karen Martin Lund and her husband Eugene, in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah. Louise had eight brothers and sisters: brother Porter Aithel Martin, born on April 30, 1916 in Greenville, Beaver County, Utah and died on September 10, 2002 in Beaver, Beaver County, Utah; sister Reva Martin, born on December 5, 1918 in Greenville and died on December 8, 1915 in Greenville; brother William Samuel Martin, born on December 4, 1918 in Greenville and died on August 30, 1966 in Beaver City; sister Virginia Martin, born on June 9, 1925, Greenville and died on February 14, 1988, Hurricane, Washington County, Utah; sister Nina Rea Martin born on May 15, 1923 in Greenville and died on May 28, 1996 in Milford, Beaver County, Utah; brother Daniel Easton Martin, born on November 25, 1927 in Greenville and died on May 11, 2003 in Beaver City; brother John Mitchell (Mitch) Martin born in 1929 in Greenville and died on ; and brother David Ralph Martin born on February 2 in Milford and died on December 3, 1969.

Raymond and Louise had four children all born in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah: son Monte Ray Hutchings born in 1939, duaghter Iretta May Hutchings born on March 27, 1941 and who died on June 10, 2010 in Beaver City; daughter Karen Hutchings born on August 3, 1941; and son Martin Hutchings born 194?. Monte married Brenda White, July 25, 1958, Iretta married Clare McMullin on September 26, 1956, Karen married Eugene Lund and Martin married Vickie Griffiths. Monte and Martin live in Beaver City while Karen lives in Fillmore.

Raymond and Louise lived all of their married lives in Beaver City, their son Monte Ray build a home right next door and Louise's brother Daniel Easton Martin and his wife Eyovne lived in their home right across the street. As I remember Raymond, he worked for the City of Beaver all of the later years of his life.
