Lorenzo Pratt Easton was born in Greenville, Beaver County, Utah on July 19, 1880.
He was the the youngest of eight children born to Robert Easton. His mother was Mary Miller (Easton) one of
Robert's three wives. His brothers and sisters were Mary Elizabeth, Margaret Agnes, Charles Robert, George,
John, William Joseph, and Rosetta Jane.

Lorenzo's father, Robert Easton, left Scotland and immigrated to the United States on September 24, 1848,
arriving in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 20, 1848. From there he sailed up the Mississippi river
ending in the St. Louis, Missouri area. His future wife, Mary, and her family were there. The men were
working in the coal mines just outside of St. Louis. Robert might have worked there also.
Sometime in 1850, he married Mary Miller. Mary was the oldest child of the Miller family. Her parents had
died just a few months before of cholera, leaving Mary and her older siblings as guardians of the younger
siblings.
Lorenzo married Catherine Jones Walker on September 23, 1903. They had four children: Margaret, who was
born on December 1, 1906 in Greenville; Wilford Warren who was born on October 1, 1910 in Milford;
Lawrence Clifford who was born on November 26, 1912 in Greenville; and Lorenzo Pratt Jr. who was born
on March 5, 1930 in Milford, Utah. Margaret died on April 7, 1978 in Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho;
Wilford Warren died on December 23, 1954; Lawrence Clifford died on December 17, 1973 in Mesquite,
Clark County, Nevada and Lorenzo Pratt Jr. died the day he was born in Milford, Beaver County, Utah.
Catherine Jones Walker was the daughter of Hyrum Smith Walker and Esther Jones. She was born in Adamsville,
Beaver County, Utah on January 12, 1886. She died on March 5, 1930 in Milford, Beaver County, Utah.
Lorenzo died on February 27, 1953 at the age of 72 in Caliente, Lincoln County, Nevada and was buried
in the Milford Cemetery, Beaver County, Utah.
