Julia Ann Levi was born on June 29, 1859 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. She was the daughter of David Levi and Ann Gillespie. Her father David was born on May 16, 1833 in Gosfield, Essex, England, the son of Frederick John Levi and Julia Ann Carroll. Her mother Ann was born in July, 1858 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of John Gillespie and Janett Sinclair.

Julia married Simeon Fuller Howd on June 3, 1881 in St. George, Washington County, Utah. Simeon was born on March 25, 1859 in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah, the son of Simeon Fuller Howd and Lucinda Morgan.

Julia and Simeon had 5 children, Jennie, born March 5, 1882 in Beaver, Utah; Levi Simeon, born December 9, 1884; Robert Leslie, born November 24, 1888, in Beaver, Utah; James Clyde, born January 31, 1890; and Zora Ann, born August 17, 1895.

Jennie died on September 13, 1946; Levi Simeon died on July 13, 1949; Robert Leslie died on January 27, 1889; James Clyde died in January of 1949; and Zora Ann died on June 15, 1943.

Julia Ann Levi died in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah on July 26, 1933 at the age of 74.
