David Karl "Pop" Levi
December 5, 1878 - March 12, 1954

 
 

 

Christina married David Levi in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City in 1871. Seven boys were born to them, James, Robert, Fred, Karl, Marshall, Orson, and Clarence who died in childhood. Christina, who was called by many of her friends as "Aunt Tinny", was a faithful member of the church. She served in many capacities. while still a young mother. She lived West of Beaver on the Levi farm where she worked very hard performing many duties. She made butter and cheese to sell and assisted her boys in milking the cows. She also rode horses very well, which sometimes was her only means of travel to Beaver.

David Karl Levi was born December 5, 1878 in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah. He went by the name of Karl. He married Della Mae Ashworth on January 18, 1900 in Beaver. Della Mae was born on November 25, 1881 in Beaver, Utah, the daughter of Heber Hyrum Ashworth and Margaret Alice Derbyshire. Karl died on March 12, 1954 in Beaver, Utah and Della Mae died on March 18, 1951 in Milford, Utah.

They had three children, Bernice, born on August 27, 1900 and who died on August 11, 1958; Marcia, born on December 13, 1901 and who died on October 10, 1982; and Margaret, born on September 4, 1903 and who died on August 15, 1980.
