Nola Joyce Lunt was born in Nephi, Juab County, Utah on June 24, 1909, the 5th child of Shedrick Alonzo Lunt and Ellen Maud Chapman

Her brother Alonzo Lorraine Lunt was born on January 10, 1875, her brother Floyd Chapman Lunt was born on January 10, 1897, her sister Nellie Fern Lunt was born on July 11, 1903, brother Hosmer Merl Lunt was born on May 6, 1906 and her sister Minnie Ruth Lunt was born on April 5, 1913. All of the children were born in Nephi, Juab County, Utah

Nola married David Rees Pearce on October 27, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. David and Nola had 4 children, Raynor, David Lynn, Catherine Madge and Rose Marie.

Alonzo Lorraine married Mable Ruth Owen on April 4, 1819. He died on October 16, 1949 in Provo, Utah County, Utah. Floyd Chapman died on October 24, 1947 in Nephi, Juab County, Utah. Nellie Fern married Stanzius Passey Park on September 6, 1922 and she died on January 12, 1946 in Provo, Utah County, Utah. Hosmer Merl married Cora Young McNaughton. He died on October 24, 1967 Nephi, Juab County, Utah. Minnie Ruth married Robert Lamont Blackett. She died on October 29, 1977 in Nephi, Juab County, Utah.

Nola died on August 8, 1982 in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah at the age of 73.
