In memory of Ray Hunter Barton. He was born in Greenville,
Beaver County, Utah on January 4, 1881, the 2nd child
of John Hunter and Eliza Jane Morgan Barton. He married Emma Jay Jones
on November 30, 1905 in Beaver City, Beaver County, Utah. He
passed away in his residence in Salt Lake City, not far from the
Salt Lake Temple on May 10, 1957, with his loving wife Emma at
his side. He was buried in the Beaver City cemetery near the
final resting places of many other Barton family members.
I am the resurrection and the Life, Saith the Lord:
He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live:
and whosoever liveth and believeth in
me shall never die.
I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall
stand at the latter day upon the earth:
and though his body be destroyed, yet shall I see GOD:
whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and
not as a stranger.
We brought nothing into this world, and it is certain
we can carry nothing out.
The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be
the name of the LORD. AMEN
